Telehealth
Virtual Visits are a Convenient Option
Telemedicine, also known as a “virtual visit,” is a consultation with one of our endocrinologists via video conferencing. This option is convenient, allows you to be seen without coming into our office, and provides care by your endocrinologist (who knows your full history and has access to your medical chart).
Telemedicine appointments are available for follow-ups only at this time. When scheduling your follow-up, please request this option if desired. Please note that you must be located in the state of Pennsylvania for a Telemedicine appointment to be permitted. We also kindly request that if you are sick (cough, cold, flu, Covid, gastrointestinal virus, etc.) on the day of your appointment, please request to change your in-person appointment to telemedicine to decrease the spread of illness to our other patients and staff.
Before Your Visit
Before your visit please ensure your camera and microphone are enabled.
Please complete all ordered lab work, imaging studies, or any other tests at least one to two weeks prior to your visit to ensure we have the results to review with you during your appointment.
If you are using a continuous glucose monitor or insulin pump, please call the office to get assistance with connecting your device with us. This will allow us to download all appropriate data prior to your visit and decrease wait times in the office.
